YEAR 7 MATHS CONFIDENCE PROGRAMME
Programme terms
Updated 12 September 2026.
Who provides the tuition
Abdullah Akbar trading as Bramley Education, a sole trader at The Belgrave Mill, Mill 1, Fitton Hill Road, off Honeywell Lane, Oldham OL8 2LB, England. Contact: info@bramleyeducation.com. The agreement is with the parent or guardian.
The programme
Online 1:1 Maths tuition for British-curriculum Year 7 pupils in Dubai and the UAE. Every lesson is taught by Abdullah, an independent personal tutor. One 60-minute lesson each week at an agreed weekend time, confirmed in UAE local time.
The first paid lesson includes an assessment and personal plan. The programme includes targeted practice and feedback, brief questions about assigned work through the agreed parent channel, and a monthly written parent update. Between-lesson support is reviewed in scheduled support time and does not include extra live lessons.
Monthly fee and payment
- AED 1,800 per month, paid upfront before the first lesson and each subsequent monthly period.
- The monthly period runs from the agreed start date to the day before the same date in the following month. A start date without an equivalent date in a shorter month renews on that month’s final day.
- The price includes all weekly lessons on the agreed day within that period, including a fifth lesson when applicable, and the support described above.
- There is no joining fee or separate assessment fee. The tuition charge is in AED. Your bank or payment provider may charge separately for currency conversion; check its terms before paying.
- The agreed lesson schedule, start date and payment arrangement are confirmed in writing before enrolment. A separate payment link or invoice is provided after we confirm that the programme and weekly time are suitable. Booking a free call does not enrol you or authorise a charge.
- Any change to an existing pupil’s fee is notified at least 30 days ahead, with the option to stop before the new price applies.
Moving or missing a lesson
With at least 24 hours’ notice, we offer a replacement within the same monthly period where a suitable slot is available. If no suitable slot can be agreed, the missed lesson is credited to the next month, or refunded proportionately if you are not continuing. With less notice, the monthly fee is unchanged. If Abdullah cancels, he will offer a replacement. If none can be agreed, the missed lesson is refunded proportionately.
Stopping and initial cancellation
There is no long minimum term. Tell us before the next monthly period begins to stop without a cancellation fee.
You may cancel the initial agreement within 14 days by emailing info@bramleyeducation.com with the parent’s name and date of enrolment. If you expressly request lessons to start within those 14 days and later cancel, you pay only a proportionate amount for services already delivered. Any remaining refund is made within 14 days of cancellation. Starting early is optional and must be agreed separately.
These arrangements do not reduce any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you. We provide these terms and your agreed schedule in a form you can keep before payment. To cancel, you may simply email a clear request, or use: “I wish to cancel my Year 7 Maths programme. Parent name: [name]. Agreement date: [date]. Request date: [date].”
Learning and safeguarding
A parent or guardian remains contactable during lessons and is welcome to be present. Use a suitable device and quiet family space. Abdullah holds a DBS certificate, available to view on request. Pupil communication uses the agreed parent channel; there is no private pupil contact through personal social media.
We teach with reasonable care and skill. Progress depends on the pupil’s starting point, attendance and practice. We do not promise a specific grade, school place or result.
