Who is responsible
Abdullah Akbar trading as Bramley Education is responsible for the information used to arrange and provide tuition. Contact info@bramleyeducation.com or The Belgrave Mill, Mill 1, Fitton Hill Road, off Honeywell Lane, Oldham OL8 2LB, England. Tuition is delivered online from the UK.
What we use and why
- Fit check: your answers about your child’s year group, curriculum, main Maths concern, preferred start time and whether the monthly fee suits your budget, plus the WhatsApp number you give us. We use these to check whether the programme is suitable, prepare for your call and follow up about the enquiry you started, taking steps at your request before a contract.
- Bookings: parent name, email, appointment time and anything you add to the booking form, so we can arrange and hold the call.
- Tuition: relevant pupil work, learning priorities, lesson notes and parent correspondence. We use these to deliver the parent’s contract and for our legitimate interest in providing appropriate, consistent teaching.
- Payments: parent billing details, amounts, payment status and invoices. We use these to administer the contract and meet applicable accounting obligations. Card details are entered with the payment provider, not this website.
- Website delivery and security: technical request information, such as IP address, browser information and requested pages, is processed by our hosting provider to serve and protect the website.
We do not make automated decisions about a child’s suitability; Abdullah reviews every enquiry. We only message you about the enquiry or tuition you asked about, and you can ask us to stop at any time.
Children’s information
Please enquire as a parent or guardian. The fit check and booking do not ask for a child’s name, date of birth, school name, full school report or health information. Share only teaching information that is needed; discuss any sensitive information with Abdullah before sending it. Parents are welcome to attend lessons. We do not record lessons or consultations as part of this programme, or use pupil identities, work or images in advertising without separate permission.
Services involved
Cloudflare hosts and protects this website. If you ask for a free Maths check through a form on Facebook or Instagram, Meta collects the answers you give there (your name, phone number, your child’s year group and what you would like help with) and passes them to us; Meta’s Privacy Policy covers its part. We use those details only to contact you about your enquiry, by WhatsApp or phone. Tally runs the fit-check form and stores your answers for us, with a copy kept in a private Google Sheet in our Google account. Calendly collects booking details and creates the appointment; Google Calendar and Google Meet provide the invitation and video call. Wistia hosts our videos. If you message us on WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram, Meta also processes that conversation under its own terms. If you enrol, a separate payment link or invoice is provided through Stripe.
These providers process information in the UK, the European Union, the United States and other countries. Each explains its processing and international-transfer protections in the linked notices; Calendly’s data processing terms and Tally’s data processing agreement describe theirs. Contact us for further information about a transfer affecting your data.
How long we keep information
We review unsuccessful enquiries, including fit-check answers, after 12 months and delete information no longer needed. Teaching records are retained during tuition and for up to two years afterwards. Payment and invoice records are kept for the period required by applicable tax law. A specific dispute or legal obligation may require longer retention; we restrict retained information to what is needed for that purpose.
Your choices and rights
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of information in a portable format where the relevant right applies. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw any consent you have given. Contact the email above; we normally respond within one month. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or the relevant authority in your country. Please contact us first if you would like us to resolve a concern.
Cookies and advertising measurement
With your permission, this website uses the Meta Pixel to measure which of our Facebook and Instagram adverts lead parents to complete the fit check or book a call, and to show our adverts to people who have visited. It loads only after you choose “Accept”, and not at all if you choose “No thanks”. To change your choice, clear this website’s data in your browser.
The embedded fit check, booking calendar and videos are run by Tally, Calendly and Wistia, which may set cookies needed to make those services work; their notices explain how. Without cookies and without storing anything that identifies you, this website also counts how many visitors reach each step (the page, the maths check, each page of the fit check and the booking calendar), which of our adverts they came from, and their country. We also keep a limited business record of enquiries, attended calls and paid starts to understand whether our advertising is useful. We do not sell your information.
